Over the last two weeks, the retaining walls have been waterproofed and the earth has been backfilled. We are starting to see the actual grade around the house. The ground for the upper level is being prepped for foundation work, and we can also expect the basement slab to be poured soon. The mountains of soil and sea of gravel make the construction site a paradise for children!
